Mr. Leo Gbekie is Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Trustee at Volaray Capital Partners. He is also Founder of parent company, The Volaray Group, formed in 2001 with less palingenesis until recently. Prior to forming VCP, he held finance leadership roles in global consulting firms at BearingPoint Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting) and Deloitte & Touche Consulting LLP. Prior to that, he worked in banking at First American Bank (now Regions Bank) where he traded foreign exchange (FX). He also led teams in various capacities at MCI, Williams Communications, Viacom and ACS (a Xerox company). He is conversant in Italian and fluently speaks at least four African languages. He was the Employment Chair of the Washington DC Chapter of the National Black MBA from 2005 to 2006.
